Dawnwalkers "of Interest"
Once again, we wish to make it clear... we will honor the Truce.
Nevertheless, we also know that there are Dawnwalkers who bear watching. A few of the most dangerous to our Cause are listed below. This list may change as matters of the Powers change, so check here often in order to be ready when our day comes. As come it must.
But for now...
"IvyGirl" - we are going to use pseudonyms (and obviously we are not about to include their actual photographs), because plausible deniability is a must. But all of you know who we are talking about. While the youngest and perhaps the least interesting of our list, she is definitely one who bears watching. She has been in constant contact with her father (see Green King, below), as well as the Earth Queen.
Ivy Girl would be little more than a nuisance, but of late she has grown more and more vocal in her challenging of the courses and policies set forth by the ruling members of the Darksiders. This is itself unusual, since the Green Powers as a class tend to be disgustingly meek and mild. "Blessed are the meek," as one wise man said, "for they shall be easy pickings in the end."
Still, meek or not, she is a threat. Seemingly only a mosquito, perhaps.
But still... a mosquito can spread malaria. And like that sleeping sickness, IvyGirl lulls many into a sense of peace and complacency that is wholly at odds with the need to foment conflict and dismay among the ranks of all Powers.
For a conflict to come, peace must be avoided. So watch IvyGirl. Report to the Darksiders who are your superiors. A time may come when more... radical actions may be called for.
The Green King. No surprise here. He has been a thorn in the side of the Darksiders and our cause since the last War of the Powers. Nevertheless, he has of late grown even more tiresome, siding ever more with the Earth Queen as they fight to stop us.
Fools. Fools all.
But, fool though he may be, he is powerful. The Green King harnesses Life, and so is a danger to the Dark. We must be cautious around him, for he as a Green has the power to sense our innermost feelings.
Guard yourselves should you come into contact with him. Like all Greens, he professes peace and advocates mediation. But he lies. They all lie.
Like a forest fungus, like rot from within the tree, he is a gangrenous growth on the face of the Powers. He waits for his moment - like all the Dawnwalkers - when he can rise up and destroy us. And again, he is powerful. He is cunning. Watch, wait.
This tree shall be felled.
And finally...
The Brown Queen. Perhaps the greatest threat of our age. She battled our King Himself in the last War of the Powers, and she is (though it galls us to admit) perhaps one of the greatest Powers of this or any other age. But though we have that bitter pill to swallow, we may remember what happened to her husband during the last War. What happened to him... and what will eventually happen to all who stand in the way of our King. She is the Brown Queen. Powerful. Immovable as stone, swift as flowing sand, deep as the Earth itself. Still, even stone may crack. Sand may be sifted. And the Earth... it shall one day kneel at our feet. And we shall take her, and she shall serve us, or be scorched and blackened and become nothing more than dust before us.
Prepare, good friends. Prepare for the days at hand. Watch these three.
And report to us any others whom you find to be of particular interest or danger.
But these three are primary targets.
When the conflict begins, these three will be the first to know the power of the Darksiders.
Great days are ahead...
